July 4th has to be the best day of the year. What other day do you get to watch parades, attend barbecues, eat as much cotton candy as you want, and then watch fireworks after the sun goes down? None. We started this year's Independence Day by decorating shirts to wear to the parade with some of Jordan's siblings. The morning of the third, we watched the Centerville parade with a mouthful of salt water taffy. The parade was good this year, although my favorite part of the parade (the fly over) didn't happen. We then spent some time at the Founder's Park carnival eating cotton candy and people watching:)

We had a barbecue that evening to celebrate our niece, Cassidy's, birthday. Afterwards we went to the Oakley Rodeo, a Toone family tradition.

On Sunday we attended the baby blessing of our new nephew, Maxwell Baker Toone. It was a wonderful day spent with family. Monday we went swimming, golfing, and went to dinner for Padre Jolley's birthday. Just so you know, they make you sit on a saddle to wish you a happy birthday at Texas Roadhouse. Seeing my dad sit on that saddle was one of the greatest moments of my life. Here are the pictures...(love you daddy!)
